Four PCC Defensive Players Make All-NNC Football First Team

While the team's 5-5 finish didn't make much of an impact, the National Northern Conference coaches recognized the strength of the Pasadena City College football defense in 2009 by naming four Lancers to the All-NNC First Team Defense.

On Saturday night in the team's season finale, the Lancers' offense took center stage as it used several top performances by sophomores to dismantle host Glendale College, 38-22, in a National Northern Conference game.

Strong Sophomore Defensive Group Expected To Lead 2009 PCC Football

Coming off a 7-4 year and the program's first bowl victory since 2001, the Pasadena City College football team is preparing for another postseason run in the upcoming 2009 campaign.
