Women's Water Polo Season Ends With 6-5 Win Over ECC

Darly Htike's goal with 1:18 left gave the Pasadena City College women's water polo team an exciting close to the 2009 season as the Lancers edged El Camino College, 6-5, in the fifth place match of the South Coast Conference Tournament Saturday morning. The 3-day tourney was played at Chaffey College.

Women's Water Polo Goalie Hogue Sets PCC Save Record

Freshman goalie Hannah Hogue reached 265 saves for the season Thursday at the South Coast Conference Tournament to achieve Pasadena City College women's water polo records for saves in a single season and career.

Hogue showed some of that vast talent Wednesday when she scored 3 goals over the final four minutes of play in the Lancers' 15-2, South Coast Conference victory over visiting Rio Hondo.

Nine Different Players Score In WWP Rout Over Trade Tech, 22-1

The Pasadena City College women's water polo team spread the wealth in its 22-1, South Coast Conference win at Los Angeles Trade Tech College Wednesday. The Lancers (4-7, 2-1 in SCC play) had all nine of their field players score goals.

The Temple City High grad's first collegiate start turned into a record-setting performance Friday as she made a new PCC single-game mark of 21 saves in a 10-4 loss v.
