A wide varity of resources are available on the topics of creating and using Student Learning Outcomes to enhance the teaching and learning experience. We have collected some of the resources that the PCC SLO Committee has found helpful and tried to organize them by type of resource and topic. Please contact the Academic Senate SLO Committee with any resources that you feel should be added to this list. Please cite authors and link to websites whenever you use these sources in your own presentations or materials.

Student Learning Outcomes Query Wizard - A very helpful tool at Center for Student Success (http://css.rpgroup.org/) that locates practical examples at other colleges to assist the practitioner in developing, implementing and assessing student learning outcomes. Also gives information about other colleges' process and results.

Cabrillo College's Learner Outcomes Project - The Learner Outcomes Project was divided into three distinct components: a Summer Institute, Fall Course Implementation and Spring Assessment of Project Results. This website shares the process and results.

This white paper was developed through the collaboration of a dedicated advisory team of community college practitioners and assessment industry experts who worked diligently through meetings, email correspondence, and conference calls to develop the philosophy, content, and structure of the Assessment Framework for the Community College.
