At John Muir High, Sanders was All-State first team, All-CIF, All-Pacific League, and selected as the Pasadena Star-News Player of the Year in her senior season ... She led Muir to the CIF title and also was selected San Gabriel Valley Player of the Year ... An outstanding shooter, Sanders averaged 24.9 points, 10.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists at Muir. At PCC Tiana played a key roll in the Lady Lancers win in the 98/99 SCC Championships. Tiana averaged 22.1 points per game and her 600-plus total points were the most in a season this decade, by any player. She was on the 98/99 All State Basketball Team and recived MVP of the year for So. Cal.

End John Hardy set a college record for yards receiving, with 24-592-5TD's. John also made a record 90 yard touchdown reception from quarterback Ross Matranga. John Hardy made All-American in 1956
