Growth & Protest

1962 Dedication of Campus Center, Women's Gymnasium, and Service Center Building.

1963 Bookstore-Bank Building completed.

1963-64 High School Diploma Program inaugurated at Muir. Fifteen adults in first group to graduate in Rose Bowl commencement.

1963-68 Allen Adult Center, 1060 North Allen, utilized as daytime center for adult education classes.

1964 Fire Science added to curriculum.

Adult Basic Education program inaugurated as a part of Continuing Education, with State support.
