Post War Era

1950-51 Due to interest in civilian defense during Korean War, 145 classes in First Aid and Home Nursing offered by Extended Day.

1951 PCC football team won its first Western State Conference championship and the Junior Rose Bowl game, under coach Bob Blackman.

1952 National Junior College co-championship in football

Engineering-Technology Building dedicated.

Television Production added to curriculum.

Language Laboratory established.

Film, "Adult Education and the Community College," produced on campus and shown widely to community groups, as well as on KNXT Channel 2.
