1979 - PCC Foundation was incorporated as a nonprofit, charitable, public-benefit foundation, with the mission of ensuring the growth and development of Pasadena City College.

1980 - Under a tripartite agreement between Pasadena City College, Pasadena Unified School District, and the City of Pasadena, the Community Skills Center was developed from the old Community Adult Training Center, to provide a variety of educational programs for an increasingly diverse community.
