The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) program at PCC will help prepare you for a career in helping patients who have articulation, language, voice, fluency, and other communicative disorders.

After you complete our degree program, you will be able to register as an SLPA with the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board of the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs to begin working with patients under a supervising speech-language pathologist. All of our curriculum is approved by this organization, and will provide you with the necessary skills and practical field training needed to thrive in this career.
