Artists in Residence

In 1987, Pasadena City College launched an ambitious program that brings prominent artist on campus for weeklong stays. The artists interact closely with students, faculty, and the community. During the residency, each artist exhibits their artwork, creates a new work to become part of the college art collection, and through lectures, demonstrations and student portfolio reviews, works directly with PCC students. Events associated with the program, such as the Forum Lecture, Artist's reception and exhibition are open to the public.

To view all the donated artwork, visit the Shatford Library and Boone Sculpture Garden on campus at 1570 East Colorado Blvd., Pasadena, CA, 91106 or for more infomation call 626-585-7123.
