Jack Zajac (b. 1929 in Youngstown, Ohio) is a California-based sculptor who has worked extensively in Southeast Asia and Italy. Known for his expressionistic treatment of natural forms, his work is in many notable public collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C. Over the course of his career, Zajac has held more than 75 one-person exhibitions at various international venues. Zajac's gift to Pasadena City College was a bronze sculpture, Bound Goat, Thursday, which is permanently located in the Boone Sculpture Garden on the PCC campus. A companion piece, Bound Goat, Wednesday, is part of the Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden at UCLA.
