The Art Gallery begins it's summer student exhibition series with FOTO X, an exhibition by Pasadena City College photography students. The exhibition features alternative photographic processes that date back 168 years. The images are contemporary but the techniques used to make them represent a rare art form.
The work ranges from photography incorporating prints, fabrics, installations, wood and other non-traditional materials.
Artists participating include Sandy Shulman, Natalie Brown, Diane Beltoya, Juliana Naresca, Stephen Nicodemo and Maurice Salazar.
There is an opening reception on Monday, June 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. and also a closing reception on Wednesday, July 7 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Gallery hours are Monday-Friday, 12-4 p.m. daily.
