Five Lancers Invited To National Football All-Star Game image

Five players from this year's Pasadena City College football team have been invited to participate in the second annual Triumphant Sports National Junior College All-American Game Saturday, December 12 at Chandler High School in Chandler, Arizona.

The event features the California All-Stars, a team comprised entirely from California Community College rosters, against the USA All-Stars, players from NJCAA colleges across the nation.

Invited to play for the California All-Stars from PCC are linebackers Jeremy Aguilar and Roman Pula, safety Julius Harris, defensive end Ahkeem Mckinney, and wide receiver Sean Carraway.

Currently, Aguilar leads the Lancers and the National Northern Conference in tackles with a 9.3 average per game (65 total). Pula is second on the team in tackles with 61, and Harris is third on the squad with 52 tackles along with 3 interceptions. Mckinney leads the entire Southern California region in sacks with 7.5 and his 16 tackles for loss also tops the region.

Carraway is in the state's Top 10 in receiving with 49 catches for 615 yards and 4 touchdowns.

"This is a great opportunity for our top players to receive national recognition and receive exposure to NCAA Division I,II, and III recruiting college scouts," said PCC Acting Head Coach James Kuk.

The all-star game kickoff is 1:15 p.m. Chandler High is located at 350 N. Arizona Avenue, Chandler, AZ, 85225.
