Returning All-South Coast Conference forward Elliott Berry scored 22 points to lead four Lancers in double figures as the Pasadena City College men's basketball team opened the 2009-2010 season with a 78-73 victory over Cuyamaca at the Clash of the Canyons Tournament Saturday.

PCC closes out the mini College of the Canyons round-robin tourney Sunday, November 8 with a 2 p.m. game against the host Cougars.

After Berry, sophomore transfer guard Jordan Block tallied 14 points and second-year guard Dannin Harris (pictured) made three 3-pointers as part of his 13 points. Sophomore forward-center Greg Harvey, who sat out last year after playing in 2007-2008, added 10 points, including 6 on free throws.
