Women's Basketball Moves to 5-0 With 62-Point Win Over WLAC

Women's Basketball Moves to 5-0 With 62-Point Win Over WLAC image

Anna Shahinian scored 25 points as the Pasadena City College women's basketball team romped over host West Los Angeles College, 102-40, Wednesday in Culver City. The defending state champion Lancers are 5-0 overall.

Shahinian (pictured), a freshman guard from Glendale High, was 4-for-5 on 3-point baskets.

PCC previously bombed host Victor Valley College, 83-50, on November 14. The two consecutive routs were a far cry from the three relatively close games PCC played in winning the season-opening Hilton Garden Inn Classic.

On November 27-29, the Lancers next play at the College of the Desert Tournament.
