6 PM First Serve: Women's VB v. Bakersfield In Regional Finals Saturday, Nov. 28

The South No. 1-seed and state No. 2-ranked Pasadena City College women's volleyball team hosts 8-seed and state No. 15 Bakersfield College Saturday, November 28 at 6 p.m. in one of four CCCAA Southern California Regional Playoff Final matches. All PCC home matches are played at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium.

The South Coast Conference champion Lancers survived a 5-game victory over No. 16 seed Antelope Valley Tuesday night while Bakersfield did likewise in a 5-game triumph over No. 9 seed Riverside. 

PCC is 23-1 and riding a school-record 22-match winning streak. The Renegades, the Western State Conference South Division champions, are 19-5 overall. 

The winner of the Pasadena-Bakersfield match advances to the CCCAA Championship Final Eight Tournament at Stockton's San Joaquin Delta College Dec. 4-6.
