The Lancers split the women's team results, defeating LA Trade Tech, 109-20, but losing to Cerritos, 87-44. On the men's side, it was similar results with PCC beating the Beavers, 100-25, but falling to the Falcons, 84-47.
Besides Sanders, Cindy Huynh was the only other Lancer woman to record an event win as she captured the 50-yard freestyle with a 28.74 seconds mark. Shannon Adams lost a heartbreaker to Brittani Kimura (Cerritos) in the 500-freestyle, edged at the wall, 5:42.09 to 5:42.17. Huynh also took second in a tough one during the 100-free when she touched at 1:03.62, just behind Cerritos' Gina Kim at 1:03.48.
In men's races, the 200-yard medley relay of Sharif Alaoui, Baldwin Ngai, Enrique Flores and Cord Cuniberti swam a 1:42.19 winning time.
