Pasadena City College freshman goalie Jorge Cervantes was selected to the All-South Coast Conference men's soccer First Team and teammate Valentine Obinwa was chosen to the All-SCC Second Team by conference coaches.

Cervantes (pictured), from Pasadena's John Muir High, recorded five shutouts and a sparkling 1.20 goals against average in 17 matches played. He made 85 saves for an .817 save percentage.

Obinwa, from Abuja, Nigeria, was a freshman midfielder. Although he only tallied two assists, he was a solid finesse player who often made quality passes in the center of the field. He was also the team's top defensive midfielder.

Sophomore defender Francisco Cantero received an honorable mention.

Under first-year head coach Edgar Manvelyan, the Lancers finished 6-6-8 and in sixth place in the powerful SCC.
