Track's Dorantes, Sebastian 4th In State Meet Events

Pasadena City College sophomores Luis Dorantes and Tenia Sebastian finished in fourth place in their respective events at the CCCAA State Track and Field Meet held May 18-19 at Cerritos College. The Lancers' 2011-2012 athletic sports season concluded with the state championships. 

Dorantes raced a time of 31 minutes, 25.02 seconds in securing a fourth place in the 10,000 meters. He was one of three South Coast Conference racers to place among the top four, including event winner Daniel Herrera of host Cerritos.

Sebastian raced a season-best time of 63.03 seconds to take fourth in the women's 400 meter hurdles. 

With five team points totaled with their finishes, the PCC men's team and women's team each finished in 34th place overall.
