Sophomore Shannon Cheung won six individual events and was part of a winning relay to lead the Pasadena City College women's swim team to a second place finish at the 15-team, Mt. San Antonio Invitational meet held February 21-22.

Other South Coast Conference colleges competing were Mt. SAC (fourth place, 410), East Los Angeles (seventh, 244), El Camino (10th, 166), Chaffey (11th, 114), and Long Beach City (13th, 80).
