Hagop Chirishian, a 2007 alumnus, and Jack Avesyan, a member of the '06 team, are former Pasadena City College men's soccer players now playing professionally in U.S. leagues.

Chirishian, who scored three goals for the '07 Lancers, is a midfielder playing for the New York Cosmos of the North American Soccer League (NASL) while Avesyan is playing as a defender for the Sacramento Republic FC of the United Soccer League (USL). Avesyan was listed by his given first name Hakop when he played here.

The Lancers' pair played under former PCC Director of Soccer Cherif Zein.

Both Avesyan and Chirishian each played previously for the same pro club, the USL's Wilmington (North Carolina) Hammerheads. The two also were members of the developmental league Ventura County Fusion.

Current Lancers head coach Edgar Manvelyan was an assistant coach for the Lancers who aided in the development of the two alumni during their seasons at PCC.
