The Chinese Music Ensemble members will play classic tunes and favorites on dizi(Chinese bamboo flute), yangqin (Chinese hammered dulcimer), guzheng (Chinese long zither) and erhu (Chinese 2-string violin). This concert will feature two virtuosos Zhiming Han and Yunhe Liang. Their performance can be heard on many movie soundtracks including Disney’s Mulan II, X-Box video game “Jade Empire” and the new soundtrack of "World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria". The Spring concert is directed by Cynthia Hsiang

 "Vive la France/Vive la Nursery" presents the finest ensembles from Accompanying and Piano Ensemble classes in a program of late 19th century to early 20th century French music (with a little Bach thrown in) for piano with clarinet and viola, piano duet and piano quartet (two pianos/eight hands).  The second half of the program presents fourteen arrangements of French nursery rhymes by Ingehlbrecht performed by fourteen piano duet pairs.
