Men's Basketball Controls Trade Tech, 63-56
The Pasadena City College men's basketball team moved its South Coast Conference record to 2-1 behind a 63-56 victory at Los Angeles Trade Tech Wednesday night. The Lancers improved to 6-10 overall.
PCC jumped out to a 14-2 lead to open the game and added a 7-0 run to end the first half as it maintained the advantage all evening.
Sophomore guard Mike Swanegan recovered his scoring touch after slumping the last two games to total a team-high 17 points while freshman point guard Jeffrey Dockett had 15 points. Sophomore forward Alec Tatum led the rebounding brigade with nine boards and letterman center Lorelle Martin supplied solid defense on six blocked shots.
The Lancers next travel to face El Camino College-Compton Center on Friday, Jan. 18 in a 5 p.m. tip-off.
