PCC Financial Aid Updates
1. The spring 2013 Cal Grant check will be mailed to eligible students shortly. Students will be paid for their spring 2013 enrolled units at the time of disbursement; therefore, please maintain enrollment as at least half-time status. PCC will only pay a Cal Grant for an accepted California Student Aid Commission payment transaction.
2. The Financial Aid Portal is currently down. We are working with PCC's Information Technology staff to determine the status. If you need information about your financial aid, please come to the Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid, L-114.
3. The Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid is currently participating in training sessions for the new Lancerpoint student information system. This training takes all staff away from their desk for most of the day. Training for various components of financial aid will take place throughout the year. We regret any inconvenience caused by the training exercises.
4. 2013-2014 Financial Aid application processes will take place in the new Lancerpoint student information system. All summer 2013 fee waivers are processed in Lancerpoint. Because this will be a new process for everyone, including PCC students, all applicants are encouraged to submit their 2013-2014 Free Application for Federal Student Aid early or at least prior to March 4, 2013.
