The 2013 Board of Trustees Scholarship recognizes the academic excellence of incoming freshmen (2013 high school graduates).  

To be considered for the Pasadena Area Community College District Board of Trustees Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements: 

1. 2013 graduate from a public high school within one of the Pasadena City College (PCC) Board of Trustees' districts.    Follow this link to determine if your high school qualifies:

2. Concurrently enrolled at PCC during the 2012 - 2013 academic year

3. Have a minimum unweighted high school grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 

4. Plan to attend PCC as a full-time student (12 or more units) in fall 2013 

5. California resident 

6. U.S. Citizen or eligible non-citizen (permanent resident) 

To apply, please submit the following items:  

1. A Pasadena Area Community College District Board of Trustees Scholarship application available at:

2. Two letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors, or high school administrators 

3. An official high school transcript 

4. A one-page typed personal statement. Please provide examples of your service to school and community

All application materials must be submitted to the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid by no later than 4:00 P.M. on Friday, September 20, 2013.  Late applications will not be accepted
