Description:

A $500 award will be given to a student pursuing an associate or bachelor degree program emphasizing Liberal Arts, General Studies, or Humanities.

* Amount: $500
* Number of Awards: One per year
* Deadline: April 1st of each year

Focus

Applicants should be pursuing any degree within a related Liberal Arts or General Studies program emphasis, such as one of the following:

* Associate of General Studies Degree Programs
* Associate of Liberal Arts Degree Programs
* Bachelor of Humanity Studies Degree Programs
* Bachelor of General Studies Degree Programs
* Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree Programs

Selection Criteria

Selection will be based on academic history and extracurricular activities. Financial need will not be considered.

Funds

The winner will be notified following the deadline and the award will be sent directly to the recipient by check to the permanent mailing address noted in the application.

Eligibility Criteria

* Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident
* Must be enrolled (or accepted) in an accredited college or university and planning on continuing the next year.
* Graduating high school seniors who meet the above mentioned criteria may apply.
* Must have a minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours still to be completed.
* Must consent to provide a digital photograph of self and quote for display on Education-Portal.com if notified as the award winner by the selection committee.

2. Complete all the required information in the PDF (You do not need to print the application)
3. Click File -> Save As
4. Name your file Lastname-Firstname-award.pdf (Ex: John Doe, Doe-John-award.pdf)
5. Submit the application via email to liberal-undergrad-award@education-portal.com
