Campus Climate Survey

This is your opportunity to make your voice heard on the state of PCC’s campus culture!

What is the Campus Climate Survey?

The PCC Campus Climate Survey is a confidential survey that measures the strength of certain organizational competencies and relationships that most directly impact and influence our campus culture. Your participation and honest feedback are critical to the assessment process.

Who Gets the Survey?

The survey will be administered online to:

  • All full-time employees (Faculty, Classified Staff, and Managers)
  • A random sample of current Adjunct Faculty and part-time employees

Each participant will receive an email with a link to the survey and a login and password.

Will my identity and answers be kept confidential?

To ensure the confidentiality of your responses, your survey will be processed by ModernThink LLC, a research and consulting firm focusing on workplace excellence. Our institution will not be given any information that would enable us to trace survey data back to any one individual. We encourage everyone’s participation! A high response rate helps ensure accurate results and demonstrates your commitment to improving the college.

Why is it important?

The 2014 PCC Campus Climate Survey is important for so many reasons!

  • Improving Our Campus

The first step in making our campus better is identifying areas of improvement. The Campus Climate Survey will provide crucial data that will identify areas of high performance and areas for improvement. This information will be shared widely and used to advance our campus culture.

  • Core Values

PCC has defined five Institutional Core Values that cover the crucial ideals of learning, integrity, diversity, collegiality, and a heritage of excellence. Many of the Campus Climate Survey questions align to these values and will provide indicators of our performance, answering the question: do our actions align with our stated values?

  • Strategic Planning/EMP

The 2014 PCC Campus Climate Survey will supply rich qualitative information that will be used to inform the evolution of the Educational Master Plan and other strategic planning initiatives.

What do you need to do to participate?

An invitation to take this survey will be distributed directly to your e-mail account from ModernThink on March 19, 2014. Do not mistake this survey for junk mail!
