Smart Cart Policies and Procedures

1. Smart Carts must be requested a minimum of one week in advance, using the Audio/Video request form.Acrobat Reader PDF document

2. All request forms must be submitted to Lance either hard copy or by e-mail (preferably e-mail, e-mail button on form will not work with web mail).

3. The request will be processed for approval depending on availability. If approved the smart cart calendar will be updated and posted in the administration and online.

4. Smart Carts will be moved to the reserved class room one day before the requested date. For the carts that have keys (Carts 4-6), keys must be picked up the day of reservation.

5. In order to request the keys for the new carts, the faculty must leave an ID or Drivers License in exchange for the key.

6. Once faculty has completed the use of smart cart. Faculty should shut down the cart and unplug the cart. Once shut down is completed, the cart should be locked.

7. When faculty returns the cart key to the Administration office their ID will be returned.

8. Once the use of the cart is completed, the administration office staff will collect, check, and either return the cart to storage or place the cart in the next class room assigned.
