The program provides in-depth techniques for drapery and window covering, clothing construction, and embroidery.
The Apparel Skills program is a two semester program that prepares students for entry level positions in the fashion and garment industries. Instruction is provided in professional techniques of clothing construction, the use of trade machines, tools, and attachments.
Students are taught how to shop in the wholesale industry for fabrics, hardware, and accessories.
