PCC upped its record to 10-8 and remained in now a two-way tie for first place in the South Coast Conference with El Camino College, both at 8-1 league records. Mt. San Antonio dropped to second place at 7-2 with its loss to El Camino Friday. Pasadena is on a season-best five-match win streak.

To'omalatai drilled three consecutive kills for an 8-3 lead. LBCC came back again as Bra'Shawnda Byrd's kill tied it at 10-10. Three straight Long Beach errors put PCC ahead and Lancer middle blocker Angela Banuelos ripped a kill for match point.
