News: Men'S Basketball Opens 2012-2013 Season at Ventura Tournament

The Pasadena City College 2012-2013 men's basketball team opens the season today at the 5th Ventura College "We Play Hard" Tournament. The Lancers will play perennial state power Saddleback in a game slated for 3 p.m. The tournament runs from Thursday, Nov. 8 through Saturday, Nov. 10.

PCC is directed by head coach Michael Swanegan, who is in his sixth season in charge of the Lancers. Included on this year's roster are two guards returning from two seasons ago in Evan Brooks and Mike Swanegan (coach's son, pictured). Returning lettermen from last season are guard Chris Smith, forwards Marquise Tolson and Alec Tatum, and center Lorelle Martin.
