December 2013, Imelda Esmaeili

Imelda Esmaeili has worked at the Computer Learning Center since fall of 2011. When she first joined the CLC she was shy, but she turned out to be an outstanding, dependable, and respectful employee.  Because she understands the importance of student support at PCC, she complements the mission of our learning center and shows consistent willingness to help. The CLC staff finds her especially valuable due to her ebullience, compassion, and  strong motivation to encourage students as she provides assistance to the diverse and relatively large population that frequents our labs.

Imelda has honed her skills in the computer lab and has taken on leadership roles to ensure optimal and smooth running of our labs during regular and peak hours.  Ms. Esmaeilihas has also assisted with payroll work schedule preparation during her shift. Her knowledge of software applications has distinguished her as an especially valuable student employee.

Imelda has a strong interest in arts and crafts and uses her skills to help friends and acquaintances on different occasions. She also likes to cook and explore different cuisines, travel, and listen to music. Imelda’s goal is to transfer to California State University, Los Angeles or Long Beach and pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business-Accounting.

The CLC staff is proud to honor Imelda Esmaeili for her valued contribution to the Computer Learning Center and the students of Pasadena City College.

Congratulations, Imelda!
