Baker, Espinoza Shine Again, Women's Hoops 2nd At IVC Tourney

For the second time this season, the Pasadena City College women's basketball team lost to an Orange Empire Conference team in the finals of a tournament. Host Irvine Valley prevented the Lancers from a first-place trophy, defeating them, 84-66, Saturday in the championship game of the Irvine Valley Tournament. In November, Fullerton downed PCC for the Glendale Tournament title.

State No. 10-Ranked Women's Basketball Advance To IVC Tournament Finals

It will be a battle of two state top 10 ranked squads Saturday as the No. 10 Pasadena City College women's basketball team competes v. No. 5 Irvine Valley in the championship final of the Lasers' hosted Irvine Valley Tournament. Tip-off is 4 p.m.

Women's Basketball Settles For 2nd At Glendale Tourney

The Pasadena City College women's basketball team kept it close but Fullerton College made key shots in the final few minutes to win the Glendale College Vaquero Shootout tournament title, 61-55, Sunday. The Lancers (4-2) took second place after winning the tourney last year.

The regularly-scheduled contest to be hosted by the Pasadena City College women's basketball game against Pierce on Tuesday, Nov. 25 has been canceled. The game will not be made up.

Women's Cagers Advance To Title Game Of Glendale Tournament Sunday, Nov. 23

The Pasadena City College women's basketball team has won two games to advance to the championship final of the Glendale College Lady Vaquero Shootout tournament. The Lancers face Fullerton College Sunday, Nov. 23 in a 4 p.m. game for the tourney title. PCC is the defending champion of the tournament.

Espinoza's Big Effort Lifts Women's Cagers To 3rd At Honda of Pasadena Classic

The shortest player on the Pasadena City College women's basketball team, Judith Espinoza, came up with the tallest performance in helping the Lancers secure third place in the inaugural Honda of Pasadena Classic Sunday. Espinoza scored 18 points, dished out nine assists and grabbed seven rebounds as PCC defeated Long Beach City College, 58-50, at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium.

ECC Keeps Women's Basketball From Honda of Pasadena Final

The Pasadena City College women's basketball team had hoped to advance to the championship final of its inaugural Honda of Pasadena Classic, but El Camino kept the Lancers out of the big dance with a 66-59 win at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium Saturday night.

Up-Tempo Women's Hoops Post Season-Opening 40-Point Victory

The Pasadena City College women's basketball team displayed a variety of new talents that have its fans excited following an 85-45 win over Taft in the season-opening Honda of Pasadena Classic Friday. The first round game was one of four contests played at Hutto-Patterson Gymnasium in the inaugural tournament that continues Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 15-16.

Women's Basketball Opens '14-15 With 1st Honda of Pasadena Classic

The Pasadena City College women's basketball team opens the 2014-15 season this weekend as it hosts the inaugural Honda of Pasadena Classic. The 8-team tournament runs Friday, Nov. 14 to Sunday, Nov. 16. The Lancers begin with a 4 p.m. first round game against Taft College, a Northern California region team.
