50-50: Top Lancers Runners Finish In Same Spot At State Cross Country Meet

Sophomore Ashley Medina placed 50th overall in the women and freshman Nathan Guzman took 50th in the men's race at the CCCAA State Cross Country Championships held November 22 at Fresno's Woodward Park.

Rough Trip For Cross Country At SoCal Championships

The Pasadena City College women's cross country team finished in 17th place, its lowest regional meet standing since 2010, at the Southern California Championships meet held November 7 at Woodley Park in Van Nuys. Despite the placing, the Lancers qualified as a team for the CCCAA State Championships for the fourth straight season.

Medina Places 10th At PCC-Hosted South Coast Cross Country Finals

For the sixth straight year, a Pasadena City College women's runner accomplished a spot on the 14-person, All-South Coast Conference Team on Friday. Sophomore Ashley Medina ran a time of 19 minutes, 23.7 seconds over a 5-kilometer course to take 10th overall during the SCC Championships meet hosted by PCC at Hahamongna Water Shed Park in La Canada Flintridge.

Women's Cross Country 9th At Mt. SAC Invitational

The Pasadena City College women's cross country team placed ninth out of 14 scoring teams at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational meet held October 17. Placing 34th individually, Edna Bailon edged teammate Ashley Medina for the fastest PCC mark at 19:54.5 over the 3-mile course. Medina was 35th at 19:54.9.

Cross Country Men's Guzman 46th At Mt. SAC Invitational

Freshman Nathan Guzman placed 46th overall to again be the fastest Pasadena City College men's cross country runner at the Mt. San Antonio Invitational held October 17 in Walnut. Guzman covered the 4-mile course in a time of 22:30.5.

Top 10 Finishes For PCC Cross Country Runners At Foothill Meet

Pasadena City College women's cross country runner Ashley Medina raced to sixth overall and Lancers' men's harrier Nathan Guzman took eighth in his gender's race at the Foothill Invitational meet held Friday at Glen Helen Regional Park in San Bernardino.

Women's Cross Country Runs Against Cal University Contingent

The Pasadena City College women's cross country team ran against a field mostly of California 4-year university teams as it placed seventh out of eight squads at the Cal State San Bernardino Invitational held September 27. The 6-kilometer race was held at the San Bernardino Sheriff Training Facility in Devore.

Women's Cross Country 14th Tie At SoCal Preview Meet

Ashley Medina ran 36th overall with a sub-20 minute time as the Pasadena City College women's cross country team placed in a tie for 14th out of 26 scoring squads at the SoCal Preview Meet held September 19 at Van Nuys' Woodley Park.

Women's Runner Medina Excels At Rio Hondo Cross Country Meet

Pasadena City College women's cross country sophomore Ashley Medina ran a time of 19 minutes, 15 seconds to place eighth overall covering the 5-kilometer, El Monte Legg Lake course at the Rio Hondo Classic held September 5. Medina (Arroyo High) helped the Lancers take fifth place out of seven scoring teams.
