Tom Maher Returns To PCC Football Head Coaching Position

Tom Maher, who directed the Pasadena City College football team for nine seasons from 1996-2004, is returning as head coach of the Lancers. Maher succeeds Thom Kaumeyer, who served on an interim basis for the 2015 season.

Football Alum Ogilvie Signs With Idaho State

Rodon Ogilvie, a defensive back from the 2013 and 2014 Pasadena City College football teams, signed a scholarship letter to attend NCAA Division I Idaho State University.

Football Moves To New SCFA Metro League In 2016

After eight years as a part of the Northern League in the upper National Division of the Southern California Football Association (SCFA), the Pasadena City College football team has moved to the American Division for the 2016 season. The Lancers will play in the newly-formed, 7-team, Metro League.

PCC Football WR Ricky Blair Signs With D-1 Middle Tennessee State

Pasadena City College football sophomore wide receiver Ricky Blair, the Lancers eighth all-time receptions leader, has signed his scholarship letter of intent with Middle Tennessee State University. He is the first PCC sophomore from the 2015 team to commit to a 4-year school.

Sophomore linebacker Terry Wilson made First Team and five other Lancers were selected Second Team as Pasadena City College football players were recognized on the 2015 All-SCFA National Northern League Team.

Football Season Comes To End With Bakersfield Loss

The Pasadena City College football team closed out the 2015 season with a 51-7 loss at Bakersfield. The National Northern League game was played before 2,730 fans at historic Memorial Stadium, in its 60th year as the Renegades' home field.

Allan Hancock Runs Wild Over Football

On Halloween Homecoming for the Pasadena City College football team, the Lancers started in style by scoring touchdowns on their first three possessions against Allan Hancock in their SCFA National Northern League game. While the Lancers offense slowed down over the final three quarters, AHC never let up as it scored on its first 10 series and handed PCC a 62-27 loss at Robinson Stadium.

Football Receives Forfeit From LA Harbor, Now 2-6

The Lancers received a pre-Halloween treat today. The SCFA reported that the Pasadena City College football team has received a forfeit victory from Los Angeles Harbor due to an ineligible player used by the Seahawks in a 24-23 original LAHC win back on September 19.

Football Falters After Strong First Half In Moorpark Loss

It took a little more than 17 minutes to turn a strong first half by the Pasadena City College football team into a one-sided game for visiting Moorpark on Saturday. The Raiders scored touchdowns on their first five possessions of the second half to erase a Lancers' 20-17 halftime lead and downed PCC, 52-26, in a SCFA National Northern League game at Robinson Stadium.

Second-Quarter Nightmare In Football Loss At Ventura

The Pasadena City College football team appeared in complete control of the second half of its SCFA National Northern League game at Ventura Saturday night. The Lancers outscored the Pirates, 17-7, and kept the ball for more than 20 minutes of the final 30. It turned out that PCC was making up for a forgettable second quarter as Ventura rang up 38 points in that period in a 62-31 win over the Lancers.

Pasadena City College football team freshman quarterback Jett Even earned SCFA National Northern League Offensive Player of the Week honors for his performance in last week's 27-16 victory over East Los Angeles.

Coach Kaumeyer Gets 1st PCC Win; Football Ends Slide, 27-16 Over ELAC

Most of the current Pasadena City College football team roster wasn't born when head coach Thom Kaumeyer last directed a victory at the community college level. Twenty-one years after he coached Palomar College to a bowl title, Kaumeyer, in his first year back in the CCC head coaching ranks, celebrated his first Lancers' win in a 27-16 come-from-behind triumph over East Los Angeles College Saturday night.

Sophomore linebacker Jalyn Williams put together one of the great defensive performances in recent Pasadena City College football history Saturday night. It served as a footnote for the Lancers in a 33-0 loss at state regional No. 5-ranked Cerritos in a SCFA National Northern Conference game.

Canyons Comeback Spoils SCFA NNC Opener For Football, 28-24

For nearly 55 minutes Saturday night, the winless Pasadena City College football team outplayed the region's No. 2-ranked team and nationally-ranked No. 13 College of the Canyons. The Lancers led 24-14 on a 4-yard touchdown pass by emergency starting sophomore quarterback Marc Peart to letterman linebacker Terry Wilson with 5:25 left in the game.

Football Rallies Late Again, But Loses To Harbor, 24-23

Nothing is a sure thing in community college football as the Pasadena City College football team learned Saturday night. The Lancers rallied from down 21-10 in the fourth quarter and looked to send the game into overtime only to miss a potential game-tying extra point kick with 35 seconds left as PCC lost to host Los Angeles Harbor College, 24-23.

Football Handed Rare Home Shutout Defeat

For the first time in 21 years and first in the 16-year history of Robinson Stadium, the Pasadena City College football team was shut out by an opponent on its home field. On Saturday night in the Lancers' home opener, state No. 17-ranked Grossmont throttled PCC, 51-0.

Incredible Rally Falls Short In PCC Football's Season Opener

The Pasadena City College football team didn't win in head coach Thom Kaumeyer's debut Saturday night, but what it did do was show heart. The Lancers nearly pulled off a miraculous comeback from 21 points down late in the fourth quarter, but lost the 2015 season opener against El Camino, 31-23, at Redondo Union High Saturday night.
