The Pasadena City College women's soccer team played tough but couldn't reach the back of the goal Tuesday night in losing its South Coast Conference opener at Mt. San Antonio, 2-0.

Women's Soccer Nets Five Straight Goals In 5-2 Win Over Glendale

After allowing an early goal, the Pasadena City College women's soccer team proceeded to pepper visiting Glendale with scoring opportunities Tuesday afternoon. By the time the final whistle sounded, the Lancers dominated their way to a 5-2 win over the Vaqueros in a non-conference game at Robinson Stadium.

PCC Season Preview: Goals A Priority For Women's Soccer in 2015

One thing was clear about the Pasadena City College women's soccer team last season--offense did not come easy. The Lancers struggled to score goals, especially during the South Coast Conference schedule. As the 2015 season approaches, PCC head coach Reggie Rivas thinks the team should be better in that area while continuing to be a solid defensive unit.
