Hi, my name is Eileen Snyder, and I've been working in the Learning Assistance Center for 22 years as the extended hours staff, keeping our Center open evenings and Saturdays. My educational background is in French Literature and Linguistics (B.A., U.C. Santa Barbara) and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages): M.A., William Carey International University. I enjoyed teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) both here and at Glendale College for a number of years, but I particularly appreciate working in the Learning Assistance Center because of its positive environment and the many learning opportunities that it affords to students and to me as well. Not only is student success our highest priority in the LAC, but we also want to promote lifelong learning beyond your PCC and university experience.
