The literature program developed by the English Department at Pasadena City College offers a solid preparation for students transferring to a four-year college or university and personal intellectual growth for all students. Students may choose from a broad spectrum of courses ranging from British, American, and Ethnic literature to subjects such as images of women in literature,
, folklore, and mythology.
To receive enrollment information and an application for admissions, students may contact PCC's Admissions office (L113) or apply online. See the Admissions and Records web site for current course fees.
"Through literature we are able to travel to worlds beyond our own, to have experiences we would otherwise never have, and meet people we would never have known. By opening new worlds to us, literature gives us a new view of the old world in which we live."
