Course Description:

Intensive practice in oral expression and comprehension of spoken Chinese. Total of 36 hours lecture.

Student Learning Outcomes:

After the completion of this course, the student will:

1. Give detailed reports and lead discussions on assigned topics.
2. Converse in challenging social and transactional situations with non-formulaic language.
3. Demonstrate verbal fluency and sophistication in both everyday situations and in situations involving more abstract topics.
