In May,
2004, the SLPA Program awarded Speech Pathology Assistant Honors
to Alice Mora (graduate, December, 2003); Kellly Nadig (graduate,
June 2004; transferring to Loma Linda University in September, 2004
to begin her BA in Speech Pathology); Becky Pope (graduate, December,
2003) and Rosemary Montiel (graduate, June, 2004). Congratulations,
graduates!

Kathleen Venne, May 2003
Kathleen Venne was a SLPA graduate in May, 2003, distinguishing
herself with an Honors certificate for Superior Achievement
and Service to the SLPA program and the field of Speech Pathology.
A frequent volunteer at workshops on the PCC campus and member of
CSHA, she is employed as a SLPA
at both the San Gabriel Valley Medical Center and The Elliott Institute
for children with autism. Congratulations, Kathleen! |

Becky Pope has recently been asked to be the southern California
SLPA representative to the CSHA Board! The former "lunch
lady" at a local school district, Becky is employed full-time
as a SLPA with a busy private practice.
