The Kathleen M. Peters Memorial Speech-Language
Pathology Assistant Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding, graduating Speech-Language
Pathology Assistant Student who has demonstrated exemplary academic
excellence with a Grade Point Average of 3.4 or better, and exemplary
skills in clinical assistance to a Speech-Language Pathologist,
both in the community and/or contracted fieldwork sites and on the
Pasadena City College campus through the Disabled Student Programs
and Services. The student awarded this scholarship must demonstrate
acceptance to a 4-year university to continue academic study and
training in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
Scholarship amount: $750

Assistant Clinical Fieldwork Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to continuing student in the Speech-Language
Pathology Assistant program at Pasadena City College who has completed
30 units in the "core curriculum" and 15 units in the
General Education curriculum with a Grade Point of 3.0 or better
and who has demonstrated promise and commitment as an Assistant
through coursework, extracurricular attendance and volunteerism
in the community and on-campus in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.
this student has demonstrated financial need in order to complete
the clinical fieldwork assignment in the course, Speech 126, and
by application to and acceptance for financial Aid.
