The Teacher Preparation Program at Pasadena City College is a well established program providing both curricular and transfer information components for the prospective teacher. Currently, Pasadena City College maintains partnerships with five public universities and three private universities in order to assist students in reaching their goal of a Bachelor's Degree combined with a Preliminary Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or Education Specialist Credential.

Students who wish to pursue teaching middle or high school will need to earn a Bachelor's Degree and a Single Subject Credential.  Generally, a student chooses a college major in the discipline that they wish to teach.

Refer to the Frequently Asked Questions of the PCC Teacher Preparation Program web page for further information on a Multiple or Single Subject Credential.
