Lincoln Heights / Cypress Park
station overview
The Lincoln Heights / Cypress Park station is located near the confluence of the Los Angeles River and the Arroyo Seco ("dry river' in Spanish). The line follows the Arroyo from here to Pasadena. Lincoln Heights was the center of east Los Angeles development at the turn of the Twentieth Century. The station is located adjacent to the 5 and 110 Freeways and provides approximately 100 parking spaces for Metro Gold Line commuters. In addition, loading areas on both sides of the street allow bus passengers to conveniently transfer between the train and the bus. The public art component of this station explores the history and cultural influences of the Los Angeles River basin.
