The Mission St. stop is as unique as the artwork found at it's location. The old town feeling is very pleasing and gives a warm feeling to anyone traveling through it. The small and intimate shops are convenient and located within walking distance or the stations stop and parking structure. Visitors to the Mission Station pass through the city's new central plaza. This part of South Pasadena is known for it's unique shopping, coffee houses and weekly farmers market. New lighting, benches, landscaping, a clock tower and other amenities make traveling by light rail easy and enjoyable. Within walking distance of the station are the South Pasadena Library, Post Office, and City Hall. Three station canopies shade passengers as they board the train from two side platforms.
