station overview
After leaving Old Pasadena, the Metro Gold Line travels east through an existing railway tunnel and surfaces in the median of the 210 Freeway. Lake Station is one of three sites along me Metro Gold Line route located in the center median. The platform can be accessed from the Lake Avenue overpass by elevator or stairs. This station will serve the office buildings, churches, shops and restaurants in neighborhoods adjacent to the lake Avenue corridor. However, the character of Lake Avenue is not limited to its shops and restaurants, rather it is me many people who frequent these buildings and use the station for transportation.
