The Digital Media Center, adjacent to Pasadena City College campus, serves the greater Los Angeles area. The center provides a virtual network for multimedia/entertainment professionals, intensive training programs, and informational and human resources. State-of-the art facilities allow for year-round professional training focused on digital media design.
PCC's Digital Media Center provides a strategic liaison between industry, education, and the community funded by the State of California Economic Development through Pasadena City College. It offers transfer, AA Degree, and Certificate programs in Digital Media, contract education, JTPA training in multimedia for the unemployed and dislocated worker looking for transferable job skills, fee-based hands-on and lecture-demonstration workshops, as well as a series of distinguished lecture and seminar series entitled the Digital Forum. The focus of these programs is to examine the interface between creativity, content, and technology in this rapidly changing communication revolution.
