Poem by Elena Reciko

Walk alone and become lost in the wild.

No longer be poisoned by civilization.

Nature here is something savage and awful, though beautiful.

The water is warm.

It has slipped twinkling over the yello sunlight before reaching the pool.

Mountains are full of sun and loveliness, and a kind of invitation, makes you want to climb into their warm foothills.

The desert is the environment of revelation, esthetically abstract, historically inimical.

The land is a desolation, lifeless, without movement.

All hopes collapse!

Nature is taking the world away from the intellectuals and giving it back to the apes.
