WHY GIVE UP TWO WEEKS OF SUMMER VACATION OR WORK TO STUDY MATH?

  1. Because research shows that if you succeed in math in your first semester of college, you will greatly increase your chance of staying in school and succeeding in all your other classes.
  2. Because if you work hard in the Math Jam, you may be able to move to a higher level of math in the fall. That means you'll save time and money.
  3. Because we have reserved seats in prime-time math classes this fall for students who complete the summer Math Jam program.
  4. Because Math Jam counselors and tutors will work hard with you to make sure you succeed.
  5. Because Math Jam is fun and free!

We know that math is difficult for many students. We want to give you the skills and support you will need to succeed in math and all of your other classes at PCC.
