So much MATH, So little TIME.
Does it seem like there is no end in sight to your math classes, and there is so little time to complete them all? Are you concerned about just not "getting it?"
Well, now there is a solution. You can take the MathPath!
- Be enrolled full-time with only ONE subject
- Complete TWO full semesters of math in just ONE semester
- Get unmatched support resources: access to the TLC computer lab and study center, tutoring inside and outside of class, computer programs to aid in understanding the course material, and more!
- Be a part of a community of fellow classmates and get through it together
- Participate on a weekend camping trip and apply the math you are working on in class
MathPath is a commitment. You must be willing to:
- Enroll ONLY in MathPath classes during the semester
- Work 20 hours or fewer if you have a job outside of school
- Arrive on time to EVERY class
- Actively participant in class activities
- Participate in out-of-class activities, including field trips, study sessions, and social activities. Host study sessions when feasible
- Ask for help from your instructors, classmates and/or tutors
- Help classmates understand concepts
- Attend office hours when needed
- Spend 20 hours per week outside of class time working on math
- Take care of yourself with proper diet and exercise

Math 125, Beginning Algebra
- Taken for the first 8 weeks of the semester
- Taken for a letter grade
- Meets 5 days a week
Math 330, Success Skills for Beginning Algebra (supports Math 125)
- Taken for the first 8 weeks of the semester
- Taken for CR/NC
- Meets 5 days a week
Students MUST pass Math 125 with a grade C or higher to continue on to Math 131
Math 131, Intermediate Algebra
- Taken for the second 8 weeks of the semester
- Taken for a letter grade
- Meets 5 days a week
Math 331, Success skills for Intermediate Algebra (supports Math 131)
- Taken for the second 8 weeks of the semester
- Taken for CR/NC
- Meets 5 days a week
MathPath 2 (8 / 9)
Total units: 12
Math 8, Trigonometry
- Taken for the first 8 weeks of the semester
- Taken for a letter grade
- Meets 5 days a week
Math 171A, Success Skills for Trigonometry
- Taken for ALL 16 weeks of the semester
- Taken for a letter grade
- Meets MWF every week
Students MUST pass Math 8 with a grade C or higher to continue on to Math 9
Math 9, Pre-calculus
- Taken for the second 8 weeks of the semester
- Taken for a letter grade
- Meets 5 days a week
