International Students

Employment

On Campus and Off Campus employment are the employment options available for international students.

On Campus - Who May Apply

Any student in good standing

2.5 GPA or above
Currently enrolled in 12 or more units
Completed 12 units at PCC

Off Campus - Who May Apply

Curricular Practical Training

F-1 International student who is in good status.
Student taking a Clinical and Field Practice class listed in the PCC catalog.
Student has been officially accepted into the program.
Student is referred by the department to the placement site.

Post Completion Practical Training

F-1 International students who have completed their associate degree and certificate program by the end of the current semester (Fall, Winter, Summer, or Spring).

Economic Hardship

F-1 International students who have completed two semesters and have a 2.0 GPA.
Students must be in good status with United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS).
Student must show effort by applying for on-campus jobs (keep records of all offices you have applied)
The need to work must be caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond the student’s control.
