As LancerPoint implementation continues at a quick pace, the need for communication is crucial. Below are the dates and times for a number of opportunities to learn about the LancerPoint upgrades and initiatives, ask questions, and provide feedback.
LancerPoint FACULTY Training Dates:
Faculty members who have not yet received LancerPoint training will have the opportunity to do so at the training events listed below. To register for one of the following one-hour sessions, please go to: http://www.pasadena.edu/lancerpoint/ask-carol
There is also the new drop-in LancerPoint Center for faculty in LL121 starting September 9th.
*Please note: all faculty members attending a training session need to know their PCC email address and corresponding password. If you do not remember your PCC email login information or haven’t accessed it, please visit the Help Desk.

Quick Guides for Common LancerPoint Tasks
III. Faculty Guide on How to Access Rosters/Add Codes, Manage Waitlist(s), Email Your Students, and Enter Grades via LancerPoint:
A. Access to Faculty Information:
-Click on the LancerPoint logo on the PCC homepage.
-Click on LancerPoint Login.
-Enter your network ID and password.
-Click on the Faculty tab to see Faculty Services Functions on the left.
B. Setting a Specific Term:
-Click on a specific class in My Classes.
-Click on the Faculty Services tab.
-Click on Term Selection and select a semester.
-Close the window when finished.
C. Rosters and Add Codes:
-Click on a specific class, then the Faculty Services tab,
and then Print Rosters and Add Codes.
-Choose the semester on the left.
-Check the Attendance Rosters box and then click
D. Create Roster.
-To print your roster, choose Browser, File, and Print.
-For Add Codes, which are not available until the first
day, select the Add Code Roster, click on the Create
Roster button, and print the sheet to take to class with
you on the first day.
-Close the window when finished.

E. Summary Class List:
-Click on the large figures under My Classes to view
-You can email individual students or the entire class
by scrolling down to the “round envelope icon” at
F. Summary Waitlist:
-Prior to the first day of class, students will be
automatically notified when a space in your class
-Click the small figures to view your wait list.
-To print your wait list, choose Browser, File, and Print.
-Bring the list to the first day of class to distribute add
G. Drop Roster Status:
If you do not have students to drop, you MUST still submit a
drop roster for each deadline.
-There are three critical drop deadlines: First Day
No-Shows (Opening Day Roster), Census Roster, and
“W” Roster. These dates are listed on your course roster.
-To drop your students, go to Faculty Services and
click on Drop Roster Status.
-Click on the CRN of the course you want.
-Select the students you want to drop and click on the Submit button.
-From the Grading box, choose Midterm Grades or
Final Grades and click on the Status icon.
-Next to each student’s name is a drop down menu.
Select the grade. The grade options preceded by an “I”
are for incomplete grades.
-To print grades for your Division Office, choose
Browser, File, and Print.
